Patent of the same family refers to a group of patent documents with the same or basically the same contents that have been applied for, published or approved by patent organizations for many times in different countries or regions based on the same priority document. WIPO's Handbook of Industrial Property Information and Documentation divides patent families into six categories:
1, simple patent family
In the same patent family, members of the patent family take the same patent application or several patent applications as the priority, and such a patent family is a simple patent family.
2. Complex patent family.
