"Osteoblast Milk Protein" in Mengniu "Qunsu" Milk

But in fact, it is sometimes worried, sometimes distressed, sometimes sad, and sometimes full of anger. Because some reports are untrue, they deliberately resort to deceit, brag and defraud the National Science Foundation; Some deliberately mislead and deceive well-meaning people, but they lack scientific knowledge and are easy to trust advertisements, celebrities, media, experts and scholars. All kinds, everything! They are all mercenary propaganda without conscience! For example, recently, the "osteoblast milk protein" (OMP) in Mengniu's new product "Qunsu" milk has been heated up. A few years ago, I studied a subject related to bones. I have never seen the report of "osteoblast milk protein" and I have never heard of this news at relevant international academic conferences. If it is a new discovery in the last year or two, I am afraid it is too late to figure out the mechanism of action. How can it be used on people so quickly? Later, I read an article by Fang et al. in New Threads, questioning that this osteogenic protein is not a newly discovered protein, but an insulin-like growth factor-1(IGF- 1) which has long been known at home and abroad, but with a new name. He quoted Professor Mei Fangquan's data: "It mainly exists in blood, and most of it is synthesized by liver ... It contains 70 amino acids with a molecular weight of 7649". I also think it's insulin-like growth factor-1. Because the number and molecular weight of amino acids are the same, it is not bad at all. If it is not insulin-like growth factor-1, it is its "isomer". This possibility is extremely small. In my years of biomedical research, I have never encountered such a situation.
It has been more than a month since the query article was published. Some newspaper reporters have also interviewed Mengniu Company and its chief scientist mother xx, but so far Mengniu Company has not published any articles or statements to clarify it. In other words, the default "osteoblast milk protein" is "insulin-like growth factor-1". If so, the problem is very serious. Because insulin-like growth factor-1(IGF- 1) can cause a variety of cancers. People with high levels of IGF- 1 in blood are prone to develop a variety of epithelial cell cancers (1, 2, 17). Besides breast cancer (3 18), it can also cause prostate cancer (4-8), lung cancer (10- 13) and colorectal cancer (14- 16). It may also increase the risk of bladder cancer (19). In this way, there are two possibilities after drinking Mengniu "Trensu" milk. Firstly, according to the propaganda of Mengniu Company, IGF- 1 can pass through the digestive tract in a complete form and play a so-called osteogenic role in the body. But the actual result is that it can't be osteogenic (Mengniu Company has not proved that it (IGF- 1) can enhance bone density and promote bone mass increase, even in animal experiments with rats, there is no clear result). On the contrary, many people may suffer from prostate cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer, colorectal cancer (which is proved by a large number of international medical research results) and possibly bladder cancer. This is close to "killing for money". The second result is that osteoblast milk protein (IGF- 1) is digested and degraded in the gastrointestinal tract, but it is not completely absorbed into the blood, at least for people other than newborns (see article). Then the so-called "bone-strengthening milk" only supplements some amino acids (or some small peptide fragments). Just like drinking ordinary milk. The conclusion is that "Telunsu" milk is either harmful or useless to human body, and consumers should never patronize it, let alone be deceived.
Writing here, I can't help asking Mr. Mu, the chief scientist of Mengniu Company: You claimed that it was "discovered and named by researchers of Mengniu Dairy". Is this really the newly discovered protein? If so, what is the difference between its amino acid composition or structure and IGF- 1? Consumers have the right to know (they can keep the production process confidential or apply for a patent). If IGF- 1 was found in protein decades ago, why cheat consumers? What is more serious is its carcinogenic effect. Why didn't you mention it at all This article about IGF- 1 carcinogenicity published in Science is about 1998 (4), which was nine years ago. It is impossible for you not to read such an important document. In addition, there are many articles about the carcinogenesis of IGF- 1, and some research work has been done on China people (8, 1 1). You turn a blind eye to so many research reports, which only shows that you are deliberately fooling consumers. Where is your scientific conscience? What is your conscience as an ordinary person? These questions should also be consulted by Professor Mei Fangquan. You are a member of the Expert Evaluation Committee of Osteoblast Milk Protein, director of the Document Information Center of China Academy of Agricultural Sciences, director of the Information Research Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture, and executive deputy director of the National Food and Nutrition Advisory Committee. With your knowledge and working conditions, if "osteoblast milk protein" is IGF- 1, you should know it like the back of your hand. Why not introduce its main function (affecting the process of cell proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis) and terrible carcinogenesis, but only introduce its secondary functions such as "significantly improving bone anabolism, enhancing bone density, promoting bone mass increase and delaying bone aging"? ! Are you also deliberately fooling consumers? Scientific circles abroad do everything possible to reduce the level of IGF- 1 in human blood to reduce the risk of cancer (9 14, 18). However, you added a lot of IGF- 1 to milk, which is incredible!
Living in this mercenary era, the officialdom is corrupt, the right and wrong are reversed, there is no fairness and justice, the rule of man is greater than the rule of law, the judgments of several courts in Wuhan and An are unfair (such as those of Xiao, Fang, Ding and Fang), and even many people are forced into prostitution. It's really not easy to "lead an honest and clean life" and "get out of the mud without being stained". But at least you don't have to "add fuel to the fire", "parade in public" or "be ashamed".
Finally, please ask two scientists and Mengniu Company to clarify whether OMP is a newly discovered protein. Or IGF- 1 If you don't clarify, once you drink Telunsu milk, you have prostate cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer, or colorectal cancer, consumers have the right to claim compensation from Mengniu Company according to your new product promotion content and a large number of international medical reports. Life is a matter of life, this is no joke!
