Who invented stairs?

/kloc-At the end of 0/9th century, two Americans studied escalators. During 1897, jesse w. reno created an escalator-like mobile phone game at Coney Island amusement park in new york, USA. On the other hand, charles seeberger bought an invention patent on escalators at 1898, and cooperated with Otis Elevator Company to manufacture the first escalator with horizontal steps, handrails and comb plates in New York State at 1899. At the Paris Expo held in 1900, Seeburg successfully exhibited their product "escalator" and won the first prize. 19 10 Otis acquired Seeburg's patent and Renault's company the following year. 1920, Otis combined the two designs and became the basic design of today's escalator.

The escalator first entered China at 1935. At that time, Daxin Department Store in Shanghai installed two Otis escalators, connecting the ground to the second floor and the second floor to the third floor.
