What are the characteristics of glass fiber PTFE mixed filter material and which industries it is used in?

Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) has many excellent properties:

(1) Excellent high and low temperature performance, with a wide operating temperature range, up to -190℃~260℃;

(2) High chemical stability, able to withstand the action of all strong acids and alkalis except molten alkali metals and fluorinated media, including aqua regia, strong oxidants, reducing agents and various organic solvents;

(3) Outstanding non-stickiness and lubricity, no known solid materials can adhere to its surface, and it is a solid material with the smallest surface energy;

( 4) Excellent atmospheric aging resistance, radiation resistance, and low permeability;

(5) Valuable non-flammability, with an oxygen limiting index below 90;

(6) It has waterproof performance.

PTFE glass fiber high temperature resistant filter material has a wide range of uses in the high temperature flue gas filtration industry and has broad application prospects. It can be mainly used in:

(1) High temperature of waste incinerators , Flue gas purification of highly viscous dust. Especially for the treatment of discarded medical supplies (such as disposable syringes, rubber gloves, etc.) and domestic garbage, it can solve problems such as high-temperature bag burning, high-viscosity dust paste bags, and chemical gas corrosion of cloth bags.

(2) Flue gas purification of blast furnace gas in steel smelting plants. It can mainly solve the problems of high temperature, high humidity, bag sticking below the dew point, and high temperature sulfur-containing chemical gases corroding the bags.

(3) Carbon black and coking furnace flue gas purification. It can mainly solve the problems of dust cleaning difficulties caused by high temperature and high viscosity dust, and the early embrittlement of the filter material due to oxidation reaction below the dew point after the furnace is shut down.

(4) Chemical, metallurgy, cement and other industries. It can solve the problems of bag dust collector bags caused by high temperature and high viscosity dust, high equipment operation resistance, early embrittlement and damage of filter materials, etc.

(5) Dry flue gas desulfurization of coal-fired boilers in power stations. Compared with ordinary fiberglass bags, it has the advantages of non-stick bags, easy cleaning, low equipment operation resistance, and long service life.
