Danish trademark applications can be submitted through the online system, and trademark application documents are submitted to the Danish Patent and Trademark Office. After the applicant submits an application for trademark registration, the Danish Patent and Trademark Office will examine whether the application meets the requirements for determining the application date, whether a trademark registration request is submitted, whether the information and address of the applicant or unit, a copy of the logo and a list of goods and/or services are provided.
If the Danish Patent and Trademark Office thinks that the application for trademark registration should be rejected in whole or in part, it will send an examination opinion to the applicant, asking the applicant to reply within the prescribed time limit, make amendments and corrections, and make a request for re-examination. Trademark documents that have passed the examination enter the trademark announcement period, and the application for trademark registration shall be publicized. Within 2 months after the application for trademark registration is made public, anyone can file a trademark objection with the Danish Patent and Trademark Office and make an objection ruling together with the trademark applicant.
The Danish Patent and Trademark Office will register and publish trademark documents that have been ruled by objection or have no objection within the announcement period and meet all the requirements of the Trademark Law.
