Pipeline blocking airbag is a multi-specification and multi-shape airbag made of polymer synthetic materials such as rubber and fiber fabrics through a high-temperature vulcanization process. It is used for pipelines, culvert water delivery, sewage discharge, and desilting maintenance. It is a rubber product that can quickly block water flow in different pipe diameters, different planes and different positions. It is an ideal tool for underground pipelines to carry out drainage and siltation control.

The models of pipeline sealing airbags include: PVC air nozzle capsules, composite water sealing plugs, air nozzle type water sealing plugs, and double inflatable capsules.

The pipe water blocking air bag is composed of an air bag, a pressure gauge, a tee, a 6-meter-long special air pressure hose, and an air pump. In the building floor closed water test, it can withstand the natural pressure of water on 2-6 floors.

Pipeline water blocking air bag is suitable for maintenance and testing work such as water sealing test, air sealing test, leakage finding, temporary water blocking for pipeline repair, etc. after sealing the drainage pipe.

1. Preparation: First, assemble the accessories of the municipal engineering circular pipe sealer and inflatable device, and check the tools for air leakage. Use an air pump to inflate the air bag. The air pressure should not exceed 0.15MAP. Check whether the air bag is leaking.

2. Open the pipe opening, slowly place the air bag at the desired position from the opening, and then inflate the pipe sealer until the appropriate pressure is reached (usually 0.25MP). Note that the pipe sealer should avoid being placed at the joint of the riser pipe fittings. The reasons are:

(1) There are seams on the inner wall of this place, which affects the tightness of the water blocking.

(2) To prevent the pipe sealing device from expanding to one side and the air pressure cannot be pumped up, the pipe sealing device will be broken if it continues to be inflated.

(3) For municipal drainage pipes, the sand must be cleaned and the inner wall should be smooth. No burrs are allowed, otherwise it will affect the sealing performance of the water blockage and even puncture the capsule.

(4) Pipe sealers of various specifications must be used in the corresponding pipelines, and small ones cannot be used instead of large ones.

3. In order to prevent the air bag and the hose from being separated, the interface between the air bag and the hose should be tied tightly with iron wire or tied in other ways.

4. When inflating the airbag with an air pump is about to be completed, turn down the air volume of the air pump and do not continue to inflate a large amount to prevent the airbag from bursting and causing an accident.

5. During the transportation of the airbag, do not drag the airbag to prevent damage to the outer wall of the airbag.

6. During engineering operations, always pay attention to the pressure value of the air bag. If the pressure value of the air bag drops very slowly, there is no need to stop the work and continue to use the air pump to replenish the air bag to the standard air pressure. , wait until the work is completed and check where the air bag or accessories are leaking.
