Hengyang Normal University, located in Hengyang City, Hunan Province, is a public full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education and belongs to a "double-class" high-level application-oriented university in Hunan Province.
The history of running a school began with the Hunan Guanli South Road Normal School founded by 1904. 1March, 1999, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Hengyang Teachers College and Hengyang Education College merged to form Hengyang Teachers College.
