The products before the synthesis of APIs are called intermediates. Some routes are short, three to five steps, and some routes are long, with dozens of steps. Most of the original research factories of synthetic APIs are foreign, and the routes have been patented. The corresponding intermediates are also coded (CAS number). In our country, the declaration of APIs is generally the process route to the penultimate part. The penultimate products are generally outsourced.
