How to use the patent number of cosmetics to check the authenticity

1. The patent number can only prove that the product is patented, but not necessarily that the product is genuine.

2. How to identify the authenticity of cosmetics:

Step 1: Look at the text. In domestic sales, we should use standardized simplified characters, not traditional characters or others. The height of the font is generally specified, and it cannot be less than1.8mm. The font is clearly printed and does not fade.

Step 2: Look at the country of origin. For products imported from abroad, the country of origin or place of origin shall be indicated. Then, according to the judgment of national conditions, for example, if the price of cosmetics in France is very low, they are basically fakes, and labor costs plus transportation costs plus taxes cannot be cheap.

Step 3: Check whether there is an approval number of imported cosmetics hygiene license. Using this document number to search online, you can find relevant information and see if the information is consistent with cosmetics.

Step 4: See if there is a banker. For domestic sales, there should be corresponding distributors to sell products in China. After checking, you can check the relevant information of the dealer and make further identification.

Step 5: CIQ, China inspection and quarantine mark. After the CIQ mark on the packaging of genuine cosmetics is torn off, you can see the nine-digit digital serial number.

Generally speaking, fakes will not have the CIQ logo, and parallel imports will certainly not have the CIQ logo. Some fakes with CIQ logo are difficult to tear off completely when tearing CIQ logo; Even after tearing off, the nine-digit serial number is behind the logo, not on the packaging of cosmetics.
