Albumin-bound paclitaxel for injection is a cytotoxic anti-tumor drug. It is composed of individual albumin-bound paclitaxel nanoparticles. These particles are only 1/100 the size of human red blood cells, and the outer layer is covered with white. Wrapped in protein, the core is a water-insoluble cytotoxic drug. The albumin-bound paclitaxel nanoparticles are adsorbed on tumor cells through the SPARC protein and eventually enter the tumor cells, releasing the cytotoxic drug and killing the tumor cells to achieve the purpose of treatment. Albumin-bound paclitaxel for injection is a new type of paclitaxel preparation. Since it does not contain co-solvents that can cause allergic reactions, it does not require pretreatment before administration and can safely increase the dosage of paclitaxel. It is different from ordinary paclitaxel injection. Compared with traditional Chinese medicine, it has the advantages of significantly increasing drug efficacy and reducing toxic and side effects.
