Why is BOE screen called Zhou Dongyu screen?

BOE screen is called Zhou Dongyu screen because it adopts Zhou Dongyu arrangement, which is triggered by enlarging the photo with pixels on Huawei mobile phone screen. Zhou Dongyu's arrangement split a green pixel into two sub-pixels, which looked like a duck, so it was affectionately called Zhou Dongyu's arrangement by netizens. This arrangement avoids Samsung's patent of diamond arrangement, which makes the screen resolution of this arrangement higher.
