Some patents have little market value. Why do people still apply for patents?
The current patent application has fallen into a misunderstanding led by the government. In terms of national high-tech enterprises, high-tech products, science and technology projects, intellectual property projects, even the evaluation of some well-known brands and three major trademarks, and the promotion of some experts, the government unilaterally evaluates and measures the innovation ability of enterprises by the number of patents, which leads to the number of patents as the key link, regardless of their market value. In some places, subsidies or rewards are given after obtaining patents, and the number of patents is used to consider the Science and Technology Bureau and measure the innovation work of grass-roots units, enterprises and institutions, which leads to more patent agencies working behind closed doors and obtaining higher benefits with the number of patents, resulting in the decline of patent quality or even no market value.
