Difference between patent application date and announcement date

Legal analysis: the application date is the date when the patent office receives the patent application documents after you submit them to the patent office. The announcement date is usually the date when the patent authorization is announced, but the application for a patent for invention will be made public once before the authorization, that is, the initial disclosure after the preliminary examination is qualified. Disclosure is a procedure for examining an application for a patent for invention. The purpose is to let the public know that someone wants to apply for an open invention. Before publication and authorization, anyone can submit materials to the Patent Office that can prove that the published patent application is not novel or creative. The purpose of this should be to use the power of the public to examine patent applications.

Legal basis: Article 25 of the Patent Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates that an invention can obtain a patent right as long as it meets the necessary conditions for obtaining a patent.
