National scholarships are evaluated once every academic year, and equal amounts are evaluated, adhering to the principles of openness, fairness, impartiality, and merit selection. The specific procedures are as follows:

(1) Application. The student himself submits the application in the student financial information system, fills in the "National Scholarship Application Approval Form", and provides copies of relevant supporting materials;
(2) Democratic review. On a class-by-class basis, counselors will preside over the democratic evaluation and recommendation of applicants, and a shortlist will be generated and reported to the teaching unit;
(3) Preliminary review. The student financial aid work leading group of the teaching unit will conduct a preliminary review of the class preliminary list and publicize it. If there is no objection after the public announcement, it will be reported to the Student Affairs Department (Department) and the Student Financial Aid Management Center;
(4) Review. The Student Affairs Department (Department) and the Student Financial Aid Management Center will review the lists submitted by each teaching unit, propose the school's proposed list of national scholarship students, and submit it to the school's financial aid leading group for review;
(5) Determination Proposed evaluation list. After the school's student financial aid leadership group reviews and determines the list of students to be evaluated, it will be publicized throughout the school for no less than 5 working days. After announcing that there is no objection, it will be submitted to the National Ethnic Affairs Commission for review, and the final list will be subject to the approval of the Ministry of Education.
Achievements and other requirements
For students whose academic performance and comprehensive scores do not enter the 10th but reach the top 30, if they perform very well in other aspects, they can apply for a national scholarship, but they need to submit Detailed supporting materials, other aspects refer to particularly outstanding performance in morals, academic research, subject competitions, innovations, social practice, social work, sports competitions, literary competitions, etc. The details are as follows:
(1) Outstanding performance in the construction of socialist spiritual civilization, with practical actions of being courageous, helping others, devoting love, voluntarily serving the society, and being self-reliant and self-reliant, which has produced significant results in the school and the region. It has a greater impact across the country and helps to establish good social trends;
(2) Achieve remarkable results in academic research, and the paper published as the first author has been published by the provincial level or above (including provincial level) full-text admission (must pass expert appraisal) or the published papers are cited by internationally renowned scientific research institutions;
(3) Achieve outstanding results in subject competitions, and participate in provincial or national professional subject competitions, extracurricular Obtain rewards of ranking (excluding excellence awards) and above in competitions such as academic science and technology competitions;

Non-physical education majors participate in sports competitions at or above the provincial level and win the top three in individual events and the top two in collective events; high-level athletes (special admissions) participate in international and national sports competitions and win the top three in individual events and the top three in collective events. Group projects should be the main players;
(6) Achieve outstanding results in important literary and artistic competitions, participate in provincial and above competitions and win the top three, and win honors for the group;
( 7) Receive national honorary titles such as Three Excellent Students at the provincial level and above, Outstanding Student Cadres at the provincial level and above, Advanced Individuals in Social Practice at the provincial level and above, Top Ten Outstanding Young People at the national or provincial level, China Youth May 4th Medal, etc.
