Some developed countries put forward international joint protection, but it was not adopted. International joint protection is extremely unfavorable to developing countries and enterprises.

PCT patent of Paris Convention is different from international common protection. Where a patent applies for a PCT patent, it may apply for a patent of other countries that have joined the Paris Convention within the priority period. The essence of Paris Convention protection is the priority of an acceding country, and the patent applied in one country is valid in other countries. During the priority period, the patent is protected by the applicant, but the patent right is not protected.
