Two methods:
1. Scrub polishing method
Tools: polishing oil, polishing sandpaper, felt grinding head
1. You should also buy a bit of wool for the felt grinding head. These are available in Magnum X Bao, and the prices are quite cheap. Remember to buy better ones.
2. Apply polishing sandpaper first, and gently polish the surface. Do not use too much force, otherwise a pile of powder will be removed. After sandpaper polishing is completed, apply an appropriate amount of polishing oil with a felt grinding head and brush back and forth carefully until you are satisfied.
3. Finally, use polishing sandpaper to "wrap" the jade and grind it a few times.
2. Professional polishing method
Tools: polishing powder, hard brush, soft leather, polishing wax, alcohol
1. Wear a mask before doing anything and gloves to avoid inhaling or injuring yourself. Another point that should be emphasized is that you should not use too much polishing powder, otherwise it will not be clean.
2. Apply a layer of polishing powder on the jade. Since I am not a professional, it is recommended to apply a small amount first. If it is not enough, add more slowly. Then brush back and forth with a hard-bristled brush for about five minutes to complete the preliminary polishing, then reapply a layer of polishing powder, and polish with soft cowhide for about fifteen minutes.
3. Finally, wipe it clean with alcohol, then add some polishing wax and it will be perfect. A piece of jade that glowed with new life was born.
