What is the meaning of priority in patent China?

Priority refers to the right to submit a patent application for the same subject again within 0/2 months from the date of application for a patent for invention/utility model or within 6 months from the date of application for a patent for design, and enjoys the authorization priority over others.

From the filing date of the later patent application, the patent document of the earlier application shall be deemed to be abandoned.

The same theme here actually refers to the same content. Where the latter applies for supplementing new contents, the newly added part shall not enjoy priority.

Priority is a very complicated concept, which is not used by ordinary applicants, so there is no need to repeat it.
