The logo of Mercedes-Benz was originally Mercedes-Benz, surrounded by wheat ears. 1926, Daimler merged with Mercedes-Benz, and the star logo and the ears of Mercedes-Benz finally merged into one, with the words Mercedes-Benz below. Later, the ears of wheat were changed into rings, and the words Mercedes-Benz were removed.
With the merger of the two oldest automobile manufacturers, the factory once again applied for a patent right for the trademark. The star logo on this ring has evolved into today's pattern, which has been used to this day and has become one of the top ten famous trademarks in the world.
