1. Hainan Tropical Ocean University
Hainan Tropical Ocean University is jointly established by the Hainan Provincial People’s Government, the State Oceanic Administration, and the China It is a full-time public general undergraduate provincial university established by Offshore Oil Corporation, Sanya Municipal People's Government, Sansha Municipal People's Government and other units. It is one of the "China-ASEAN Education Training Center" of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education, and one of the top ten "China-ASEAN Education and Training Centers" of the Ministry of Education. 2. Hainan Normal University
The predecessor of Hainan Normal University can be traced back to Qiongtai Academy with a history of more than 300 years. In the autumn of 1949, the National Hainan Normal College was officially established and was the first public institution in Hainan. College; in 1952, it was renamed Hainan Normal College during the adjustment of colleges and universities; in 1986, the organizational structure of Hainan Normal College was restored.
3. Hainan Medical College
The predecessor of Hainan Medical College was the merger of the private Haiqiang Medical Vocational School founded in 1947 and the private Hainan University Medical College founded in 1948. Over the past seventy years of operation, it has formed a talent training system with undergraduate education as the main body, postgraduate education as the guide, and a reasonable structure of academic education at all levels.
4. Qiongtai Normal College
The predecessor of Qiongtai Normal College was Qiongtai Academy founded in 1705. In 1902, Qiongtai Academy was officially changed to Qiongzhou Fuzhong School and began New education in Hainan. It has 11 teaching units, including the School of Preschool Education, the School of Teacher Education, the School of Marxism, the School of Liberal Arts, the School of Science, the School of Information Science and Technology, the School of Foreign Languages, the School of Music, the School of Physical Education, the School of Fine Arts, and the School of Management.
5. Haikou University of Economics
The school was founded in 1974. It has gone through development stages such as Haikou Vocational University and Haikou Vocational and Technical College of Economics. In 2004, it was recognized as a national university by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Construction. A pilot university for cultivating construction skilled talents in short supply, it was upgraded to an undergraduate institution with approval from the Ministry of Education in March 2008.
