Can part dimensions be patented?

It needs to be judged based on whether it is creative. If it is creative, you can apply for a patent, but not vice versa.

Conditions for determining whether a patent can be applied for:

1. If the change in the size of the part does not change the original use of the part, it does not constitute inventiveness. If the change in the relationship between the elements does not lead to changes in the effects, functions and uses of the invention, or the changes in the effects, functions and uses of the invention are foreseeable, the invention does not involve creativity.

2. If the change in the size of the parts causes the invention to produce unexpected technical effects, the invention has outstanding substantive features and significant progress, and is creative.

Inventions that change the relationship between elements can be granted patent rights if they meet the authorization conditions, so you can also apply for an invention patent.
