How does the oil pressure warning light come on?

There are two kinds of alarms: 1. True alarm means insufficient oil pressure or insufficient oil pressure; 2. False alarm, assuming there is no shortage of oil or oil pressure, is generally caused by the oil sensor plug itself.

1. The oil in the oil pump is insufficient, which leads to the decrease of the oil in the oil pump or the failure to refuel the pump due to insufficient air, which leads to the decrease of oil pressure;

2. If the engine temperature is too high, it is easy to dilute the oil, and the large star in the fit gap is lost, and the oil pressure drops;

3. When the parts of the oil pump are damaged or the gap is too large due to wear, assembly and other problems, the oil supply of the oil pump will fail or be insufficient;

4. Improper fit clearance between crankshaft and large and small tiles will increase oil pressure if it is too tight, and reduce oil pressure if it is too loose;

5. Blocking the oil filter and oil suction pan will also reduce the oil pressure;

6. Damage or failure of the oil return valve: if the spring of the oil return valve in the main oil circuit is fatigued and softened or improperly adjusted, the mating surface between the valve seat and the steel ball is worn or stuck by dirt, the oil return star is obviously increased, and the oil pressure in the main oil circuit is also reduced;

7. Improper selection of engine oil: If the engine oil is used improperly or the brand is selected improperly, the leakage will increase due to the low viscosity of engine oil when the engine is running, thus reducing the engine oil pressure;

8. The oil pipeline is blocked by oil leakage.
