On February 27th, Ziguang Zhanrui held an online press conference to announce that Tanggula T770 and Tanggula T760 have achieved mass production of customers' products. This indicates that Ziguang Zhanrui has become the first echelon in the world in the fields of communication technology and semiconductor technology.

It is reported that the Tanggula 5G brand was born in the first half of 20021,and it was against Huawei Kirin. Although compared with Hisilicon, Ziguang Zhanrui's technology and experience in the field of mobile phone chips are slightly inferior, in the case that Kirin processors cannot be produced, Zhanrui Tanggula's 5G chips actually represent the highest level of China's 5G chips. The successful mass production of Tanggula T770 chip is the most intuitive embodiment of domestic semiconductor breakthrough.

The second generation of 6nm chips came out.

Tanggula T770 is the world's first 6nm chip platform for successful rewinding and the second generation 6nm chip developed by Zhanrui. Although Zhanrui chip is not well-known in the 5G consumer market, in fact Zhanrui has been laying out 5G technology.

Because Zhanrui's market share in functional machine chips is close to 80%, there is no room for growth, and the transformation to the field of smart phones is imminent for Zhanrui. And 5G is the latest development direction of smart phones, and Zhanrui will naturally not give up the market. Tanggula T770 is a bright sword of Zhanrui in the 5G chip market.

According to the official introduction, Tanggula T770 supports cutting-edge communication technologies such as 5G R 16 and 5G network slicing. In order to build this product, Zhanrui has made a long-term layout of 5G R 16 technology and applied for nearly 200 patents.

Moreover, in order to give users a better online experience, Zhanrui will actively cooperate with operators to optimize some technologies. Therefore, many customers choose Tanggula T770. At present, domestic brands including China Telecom, Glory and Hisense have established cooperative relations with Zhanrui.

In my opinion, it is not the 5G performance that really determines the reputation of Tanggula T770 chip.

After all, the current 5G application ecosystem has not yet been established, and excessive 5G tariffs have blocked many users. Compared with the 5G experience, most users should be more concerned about chip performance. Because for intelligent terminal devices, chip performance will directly affect the user experience.

According to official data, Tanggula T770 is equipped with four A76CPU cores and four A55CPU cores, and the GPU is Mail G57.

The overall configuration is not a bright spot, and it belongs to low-end positioning products. Although 6nm belongs to the category of advanced technology, it is also not a selling point when 4nm chips have been mass-produced and 3nm technology is ready.

Generally speaking, Tanggula T770 chip is only a qualified entry processor for 5G mobile phones.

However, considering that Zhanrui has just entered the 5G chip track, it is not easy for Tanggula T770 to achieve this result.

Moreover, another official data is more eye-catching than the configuration parameters of Tanggula T770. The performance of Tanggula T770 is improved by 100% compared with the previous generation.

This means that the R&D team of Tanggula 5G chip is familiar with chip design and the team is getting better and better. If we can maintain the trend of chip performance upgrade, it is not impossible for Zhanrui chip to hit the mid-range or even high-end market in the future.
