Guilin Teachers College is an ordinary normal college approved by the Ministry of Education. Won the excellent level of talent training evaluation in higher vocational colleges of the Ministry of Education, and successively won the national advanced unit of school art education and the first batch of national model schools for standardization of language and writing.
The school's predecessor was Guangxi Provincial Guilin Normal School, which was founded in 1938. It is one of the four famous normal schools that have made great contributions to the revolution. In 2000, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Guilin Institute of Education and Guilin Normal University merged to form Guilin Normal College.

The name of the school in the image sign is written in Chinese and English: Guilin Normal University.
