Working principle of air conditioner

Air conditioning is divided into single cooling air conditioning and cold and warm air conditioning, and the working principle is the same. Freon used to be the common refrigerant in air conditioning. The characteristic of freon is that it releases a lot of heat when it changes from gas to liquid. When it changes from liquid to gas, it will absorb a lot of heat. That is, the air conditioner is designed according to this principle.

The compressor compresses the gaseous refrigerant into high-temperature and high-pressure gaseous refrigerant, and then sends it to the condenser (outdoor unit) for heat dissipation, and turns it into liquid refrigerant at normal temperature and high pressure, so the outdoor unit blows out hot air.

Then enter the capillary and enter the evaporator (indoor unit). Because the space suddenly increases and the pressure decreases after the refrigerant reaches the evaporator from the capillary, the liquid refrigerant will vaporize and become a low-temperature gaseous refrigerant, thus absorbing a lot of heat, and the evaporator will become cold. The fan of the indoor unit blows out indoor air from the evaporator, so the indoor unit blows out cold air. Water vapor in the air will condense into water droplets when it meets a cold evaporator and flow out along the water pipe, which is why air conditioners produce water.

Heat. Sometimes there is a component called a four-way valve, which makes the refrigerant flow in the condenser and evaporator in the opposite direction to that during refrigeration, so when heating, cold air is blown outdoors and hot air is blown indoors.

In fact, it is the principle that junior high school physics has learned that heat is discharged when liquefied (from gas to liquid) and heat is absorbed when vaporized (from liquid to gas).

The water in the water tank is continuously pumped out by the circulating water pump and evenly sprayed on the evaporation filter layer through the water distribution system. Outdoor hot air enters the evaporative cooling medium and fully exchanges heat with the water in the evaporative cooling medium CELdek (a special honeycomb filter layer, a Swedish high-tech patented product). The cool and clean air cooled by water evaporation is pressurized by a low-noise fan, so that the indoor hot air is discharged to the outside, thus achieving the purpose of indoor cooling.

Causes of poor refrigeration of air conditioner

1, temperature setting. The refrigeration effect of air conditioner is directly related to the set temperature of air conditioner. If the temperature is set high when the air conditioner is turned on in hot weather, the refrigeration effect of the air conditioner will not be good.

2, air conditioning refrigerant (Freon) too little or leakage, resulting in insufficient air conditioning working pressure, resulting in poor air conditioning refrigeration effect.

3. The long-term use of the air conditioner causes the aging of the internal valve plate of the compressor, which leads to the decrease of the transmission power of the compressor and the poor refrigeration effect of the air conditioner.

4. The air conditioning refrigeration is normal, but the air conditioning filter screen has not been dusted for more than half a month, and dust blocks the filter screen, resulting in a decrease in circulating air volume, that is, the amount of cold air blown out is not enough, and the refrigeration effect is poor.

5. There are too many obstacles in the air inlet and outlet of the air conditioner, which affects the refrigeration effect of the air conditioner.

6. The room is too big, the air conditioner used is too small, and the applicable area of air conditioning refrigeration capacity is smaller than that of the room using air conditioning, which will also cause poor refrigeration effect.

7. There are too many people in the room, or there are other heat sources, which will have a certain impact on the refrigeration effect of the air conditioner.

8, air conditioning installation is unreasonable, ventilation pipe is too long, heat transfer efficiency is low, resulting in no refrigeration.

9, the room insulation effect is not good, some rooms because of the special wall structure, heat loss is large, so it will also feel that the air conditioning refrigeration effect is not good, but the actual air conditioning works normally.

10, outdoor temperature is too high. Generally speaking, if the outdoor temperature exceeds 43 degrees, it is difficult for most air conditioners to transfer indoor heat to the outside, and the indoor cooling effect is naturally limited.
