▲ Glue is to brush a layer of glue on the wall first, which is an important step in laying mosaic tiles. Brush the prepared tile glue or white cement on the wall, and apply it evenly with special tools. The thickness of glue or white cement is preferably about 20 mm.
Step 2: Paste the mosaic tiles.
▲ According to the design drawings, the mosaic tiles are laid on the glued walls at the grass-roots level in turn. After each tile is laid, it should be firmly bonded with glue. You can use caulking to pat it, or you can use a rubber hammer to beat it evenly to ensure that each mosaic tile can be firmly combined.
Step 3: joint filling.
▲ After the mosaic tiles are dry and have a certain strength, the joint filling work can be started. At this time, it is best to use a professional caulking brush or putty shovel to evenly fill the adjusted caulking agent into the gaps of mosaic tiles, and pay attention to the fullness of the caulking agent when filling. Each operating area should not be greater than 2 square meters to ensure the construction quality and reduce the cleaning difficulty.
Step 4: Clean and perfect.
▲ 20-25 minutes after the mosaic tile is caulked, wipe off the excess caulking agent on the tile surface with a wet cloth or a wet sponge, and pay attention to controlling the wiping strength to avoid wiping off the caulking agent in the gap. Finally, wipe with a dry cloth to complete the paving process.
