Changzhou University, referred to as "Changda", is located in Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province. It is a provincial full-time undergraduate college jointly established by Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, China Petroleum and Natural Gas Group Co., Ltd., sinopec group and China Offshore Oil Group Co., Ltd.
We will build B-class universities for national demonstration universities for deepening innovation and entrepreneurship education reform, national pilot demonstration universities for intellectual property rights, overseas Chinese education base in the State Council and high-level universities in Jiangsu.
The school was founded in 1978, formerly known as Wuxi Branch and Changzhou Branch of Nanjing Institute of Chemical Technology. 198 1 With the approval of the State Council, the school was named Jiangsu Institute of Chemical Technology; 1992 became a subordinate college managed by China Petrochemical Group, and was renamed Jiangsu Institute of Petrochemical Technology.
In 2002, it was renamed Jiangsu Institute of Technology; 20 10 was renamed Changzhou university; In 2020, the school became a university jointly established by Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education and Changzhou Municipal People's Government.

As of July, 2022, since the 13th Five-Year Plan, our school has won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award 1, the second prize of National Technological Invention Award 1, the China Patent Silver Award 1, and the second prize of National Social Science Outstanding Achievement Award 1, and was selected into the National Library of Philosophy and Social Sciences.
Received 303 national scientific research projects, including major and key projects 17; SCI, EI, CPCI and CSSCI have collected more than 3,400 academic papers and granted more than 2,000 invention patents.
In September, 2022, the evaluation results of projects accepted by the National Natural Science Foundation of China were released. Changzhou University has approved 65 projects with direct funds of 23.54 million yuan, up 124.2% and 95.2% respectively over the same period of last year. The number of projects and funds are the best achievements of the school over the years.
