School Introduction
Bazhong Vocational and Technical College is a full-time general college approved by the People’s Government of Sichuan Province and registered with the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China and the State Council. It is a national defense education characteristic school, the third batch of 1+X certificate system pilot schools of the Ministry of Education, a national applied talent training engineering training base, and a vice-chairman unit of the National Vocational College Red Culture Research and Education Alliance.
The school’s predecessors are Bazhong Normal School founded in 1954, Tongjiang Secondary Occupational Health School established in 1958, and Bazhong Technical School established in 1990. In February 2013, Bazhong Normal School , Bazhong Vocational Education Center, Bazhong Technical School, and Tongjiang Secondary Occupational Health School were merged and upgraded to Bazhong Vocational and Technical College.
Teaching Staff
According to the school’s official website in April 2023, the school has 389 full-time teachers and 214 part-time teachers outside the school. Senior professional titles account for 25%, graduate students with master's and doctoral degrees account for 35.7%, and teachers with dual qualifications account for 41.9%.
