4 principles of invention and innovation

Achschuler studied, analyzed and summarized a large number of patents, and extracted the most important and universally used 4 invention principles in TRIZ. The principles are the general laws that should be followed to obtain conflict solutions. TRIZ mainly studies the conflict between technology and physics. Technical conflict refers to the compromise in traditional design, that is, due to the influence of a certain part of the system itself, the required state cannot be achieved. Physical conflict means that an object has opposite needs. TRIZ guides designers to choose principles that can solve specific conflicts, the premise of which is to determine conflicts according to standard parameters, and then use 39×39 standard conflicts and 4 invention-creation principles to solve conflicts.

1. Segmentation principle

A. Divide an object into independent parts.

B. Make the object detachable.

C. increase the degree of object segmentation.

2. disassembly principle

the "interference" part ("interference" characteristic) is removed from the object, or on the contrary, the only needed part or required characteristic is separated.

contrary to the above technique of dividing an object into several identical parts, here it is necessary to divide the object into several different parts.

3. Principle of local properties

a. Transition from the consistent structure of the object or external medium (external action) to the inconsistent structure.

B. Different parts of an object should have different functions

C. Each part of an object should have the most suitable conditions for its work.

4. the principle of asymmetry

a. the symmetrical form of an object is transformed into an asymmetrical form.

B. If the object is not symmetrical, strengthen its asymmetry,

5. Joint principle

A. Combine the same object or objects that have completed similar operations,

B. Combine the same or similar operations in time.
