How to choose and install tractors and rotary cultivators?

Due to the different soil conditions, agricultural technical requirements and the working width of rotary tiller, it should be noted that the power of tractor is greater than the power consumption of rotary tiller when selecting rotary tiller.

(1) When installing a three-point suspension rotary cultivator matched with a wheeled tractor, first cut off the power supply of the power output shaft, remove the cover of the output shaft, reverse the car and hook the rotary cultivator, then install a universal joint with a square shaft on the drive shaft of the rotary cultivator, lift the rotary cultivator, turn the square shaft by hand to see if it is flexible, then insert the universal joint with a square sleeve into the square shaft and shrink it to the minimum size, and hold the universal joint by hand and insert it into the tractor. Attention should be paid during installation: the fork joint of square shaft and square shaft sleeve should be in the same plane. If it is not installed correctly, the universal joint will make noise, the vibration of the rotary tiller will increase and the parts will be damaged. After installing the universal joint, the safety pin should be inserted into the groove on the spline shaft and locked with the cotter pin.

(2) Direct-connected rotary cultivators are mostly matched with small horsepower tractors. It is directly fixed on the rear axle of the tractor through bolts, and the power is driven by the power output shaft through the clutch or universal joint to drive the cutter shaft to work. Although the lifting of the direct-connected rotary tiller is also controlled by the hydraulic control handle, the gear box and the main beam are fixed, and only when the rotary tiller rotates around the main beam can the cutter shaft rise or fall, so attention should be paid to it when it is used in combination.

(3) When the tractor is connected with the horizontal rotary cultivator, the transmission shaft should be in the same line with the power output shaft of the tractor, and the central pull rod of the tractor suspension device should be hung as high as possible, which can improve the passing performance of the tractor group and avoid accidents. The left and right lifting rods should also be highly consistent, so as to ensure that the left and right tillage depths are consistent.

(4) When the walking tractor is equipped with a rotary tiller, the tractor should lean forward, remove the traction frame and fix the rotary tiller on the transmission with five studs. Pay attention to the alignment of the two locating pins on the two joint surfaces to ensure that the assembled gears mesh correctly. During installation, if the gear in the transmission box of the rotary cultivator is butted with the gear in the transmission box, it is not allowed to strike hard. Before installation, turn the pulley to make the gear in the transmission rotate by an angle. In addition, the thickness of the paper pad at the joint with the transmission should be 0.5 0.05 mm. Too thick or too thin will affect the meshing clearance of the gear. When disassembling the rotary tiller, cover the joint surface of the transmission device with a protective cover to prevent sundries from falling into the box.
