Format requirements for undergraduate graduation thesis (design)
1. Thesis composition
The format of the graduation thesis should be standardized and must consist of three parts: cover, table of contents, and main text (including Chinese and foreign title, Chinese and foreign abstract, Chinese and foreign keywords, main text, references, and acknowledgments). The binding order of the paper is outer cover?Proposal report?Inner cover?Table of contents?Chinese title?Chinese abstract?Chinese keywords?Foreign language title?Foreign language abstract?Foreign language keywords?Text?References?Acknowledgements?Appraisal comments form. If there is an appendix, it should be bound after the references.
2. Paper and printing and binding specifications
Graduation thesis must be printed on A4 paper by computer. Binding on left side.
3. Editing settings
1. Page settings:
① "Paper size" - mainly choose "A4", "Portrait", individual pages can use "A4", "Landscape".
② "Document Grid" - Always use "No Grid".
③"Margins" - Top: 2.5cm, Bottom: 2.0cm, Left: 3.0cm, Right: 2.5cm. The gutter is on the left.
2. Paragraphs:
① The thesis title should be centered and the first line of each paragraph should be indented by 2 characters.
②The "line spacing" is always 1.5 times.

4. Cover requirements
Every paper submitted must use the outer cover uniformly issued by the school. (The binding is always on the left). Also attached is a self-made inner cover (printed on A4 paper by computer), which contains the title of the Chinese and foreign papers, the author's name, student number, class, the name and professional title of the instructor, and the completion time of the paper.
5. Requirements for the topic proposal report
The topic proposal report includes: the background and significance of the topic selection (a review of the domestic and foreign research status, progress, existing problems, etc. related to the topic selection) Research, on this basis, the research significance of the selected topic is proposed), the main content, methods, and technical routes of the topic research, the main problems and innovations to be solved by the topic research, the overall arrangement and progress of the topic research, references, etc. The proposal report form can be downloaded from the website of the Academic Affairs Office.

6. Paper abstract
(1) Number of words: Chinese and foreign abstracts are generally 300 to 500 words each.
(2) Abstract content: It is required to briefly state the research background, purpose, research methods, research focus, results and main conclusions of the paper.
(3) Font: Both Chinese and foreign languages ??are size 5, and Chinese uses Song Dynasty.
7. Text requirements
(1) Number of words: more than 8,000 words for liberal arts majors; more than 7,000 words for science and engineering majors, and more than 6,000 words for arts and sports majors.
(2) Font: The main text is generally printed in Song font size 4. Titles in Chinese are printed in bold with a small three, and titles in foreign languages ??are printed with a small three in bold. The titles of each paragraph in the article should be printed in bold, small font size 4, and should be consistent. The text format of the entire text should be consistent. There is no punctuation mark after the title that stands on its own line.
(3) Serial number: The sequence number of the full text should be standardized. The main text of the paper should not have too many levels, generally no more than 5 levels.

The first and second level titles should be on separate lines, and the third, fourth and fifth level titles can be on the same line as the rest of the article.

(4) The table names should be placed directly above the table, with Chinese and foreign languages ??contrasted; the figure names should be placed directly below the figures, with Chinese and foreign languages ??contrasted. The list of tables is in the form of a "three-line table", and the illustrations must be given directly in the corresponding places in the text. The size of the picture is: half column picture <60mm, 100mm <130mm; full column picture <130mm. The measurement and pricing units in this article shall all adopt international standard units, and formulas shall be typed in separate rows, centered and in italics.
(5) Notes: Notes refer to the author’s explanation of a certain part of the text. For example: explanations of certain terms, explanations of the sources of quotations (especially direct quotations), etc. Both Chinese and foreign languages ??are in small size 5, and Chinese uses Song font. Comments can use either footnotes or endnotes. Use a note number ([], usually placed before the punctuation mark) in the upper right corner of the text where you need to add it. The format of annotations refers to the format of references.
8. References
References refer to various materials referred to during the writing process of the paper and should be attached at the end of the paper for explanation. References have many meanings: as evidence or background information to elucidate the author's insights; to provide strong theoretical basis or classic discussion; to express the inheritance, reference or discussion of other people's theories or achievements, etc., and to reflect the author's degree of absorption and utilization of information.
During the writing process of the main body of the thesis, liberal arts majors require more than 10 references, other majors require more than 6 references, and suitable majors require no less than 3 foreign literature. It is required to list all cited Chinese and foreign literature and materials in order of citation.
