The compressor

Combustion chamber

Gas generator
Turbine 2-stage axial flow type. No cooling. The first-stage rotor blades with fir-tree-shaped sealed tenons are directionally solidified nickel-based DZ22 alloy precision castings. The blade body is sprayed with a paint composed of six elements including Ni, Cr, Al, Co, Y, and Ta using low-pressure plasma to improve the performance of the rotor blades. Its high temperature antioxidant properties. The embedded second-stage rotor blades are made of imitation NK15CATD precision casting blanks. The two-stage turbine discs are machined from nickel-based GH500 forgings.
Free turbine
Single-stage axial flow type. The rotor blades, precision cast from NC13Adbc alloy, are embedded in the cantilevered free turbine disk through their fir-tree-shaped tenons. The free turbine guide is made of cobalt-based and nickel-based alloy plates that are stamped and welded. Rotation speed 41586r/min.
Reducer
2-stage simple cylindrical helical gear reduction. The reduction ratio is 0.14428. The reducer reduces the free turbine speed of 41586r/min to the power shaft speed of 6000r/min. The reduction gear is machined from imitation E16NCD13 forgings. The reduction gearbox is made of high temperature resistant cast aluminum alloy blank. The transmission casing
transmits each rotating accessory through the bevel gear and cylindrical gear train. The front fulcrum of the power shaft is placed in the accessory transmission casing. The WZ8/WZ8A/WZ8E engine outputs all shaft power forward through the power shaft, while the WZ8D outputs forward power for driving the rotor through the power shaft through the free turbine to the free turbine shaft, and at the same time outputs power for driving the tail rotor backward.
Exhaust device

The fuel system
includes the fuel tank, auxiliary booster pump and fuel filter installed on the helicopter, as well as the fuel regulator, overspeed drain valve, booster installed on the engine. Valves and oil dump pans, etc. Oil supply pressure is 3432kPa. Fuel grades RP-1 and RP-2.
The oil system
consists of an oil tank, an oil radiator, an oil temperature sensor installed on the helicopter, an oil pump, an oil pressure sensor, and a low-pressure oil temperature sensor installed on the engine. It consists of oil pressure switch, oil filter, oil filter clogging indicator, torque measuring mechanism and magnetic plug. Oil supply pressure is 500kPa. Lubricating oil consumption is 0.2kg/h.
Starting system
