The difference between pressing method and drip method

The operation mode, production efficiency and product quality are all different.

1. Operation mode: tablet method is to make gelatin solution and liquid medicine into films respectively, then press the two films together and press them into soft capsules with a roller. Dropping method is to mix gelatin solution and liquid medicine together, and drop the mixed solution into cooling water containing coagulant by dropping pill machine to form soft capsules.

2. Production efficiency: The production efficiency of pressing method is low, because its operation steps are complicated and it needs more time and manpower. Dropping method has simple operation steps, high degree of automation and high production efficiency.

3. Product quality: The soft capsules prepared by pressing method have regular shape, thick shell and hard texture. However, the shape of soft capsules prepared by drop method is irregular, the shell is thin and the texture is soft. Therefore, the soft capsules prepared by pressing method have great advantages in stability, while the soft capsules prepared by dropping method have great advantages in taste and drug release.
