The research on the anti-influenza virus activity of new compounds of N- substituted -5- hydroxy -1H- indole -3- carboxylate has been supported by the National Natural Science Foundation and the National Tenth Five-Year Key Scientific and Technological Project. On this basis, the anti-hepatitis B virus activity of these compounds was deeply studied, and they were successively supported by Liaoning Provincial Natural Science Foundation, National Natural Science Foundation and the National Twelfth Five-Year Science and Technology Major Science and Technology Project. Amidol hydrochloride, a new anti-hepatitis B virus drug, was approved by SFDA for phase I/II clinical trials, two domestic invention patents, and applied for an international PCT patent, which has been protected by patents in the United States, Japan, South Korea and India. He has supervised 86 graduate students and 28 doctoral students, published nearly 13 papers, including 65 papers collected by SCI, and compiled two textbooks of Medicinal Chemistry.
