Introduction: Suzhou Thermal Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Suzhou Institute") was formerly known as Suzhou Nuclear Power Research Institute of the Ministry of Water Resources and Electric Power (later renamed Suzhou Thermal Engineering Research Institute of the Ministry of Water Resources and Electric Power) and was established in 1978. Its main task is to track, digest and absorb nuclear power technology to serve nuclear power construction and production and operation. From June 5438 to October 2000 10, Suzhou Thermal Power Research Institute was transformed into a scientific and technological enterprise, and all its assets were allocated to China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group Co., Ltd., which was registered and established in July 2003. Suzhou Institute currently has a registered capital of 286 million yuan, more than 800 employees and an annual output value of 300 million yuan. It has eight professional technical research centers, including power station life management research center, power station equipment supervision engineering technology research center, environmental protection and emergency technology research center, nuclear safety technology research center, electrical and information technology research center, thermal power technology research center, in-service detection technology research center, education and training center, a postdoctoral research center and a pilot base of Nanjing Xinsu Thermal Power Plant. After more than 30 years of development, through the research and extensive practice of nuclear power and thermal power-related technologies, SUNY has cultivated a high-quality talent team, and has carried out fruitful work in scientific research and development and technical services, R&D platform and nuclear power standard construction, and personnel training, and gained considerable popularity in the power industry, especially in the field of nuclear power. Suzhou Institute holds the first-class certificate of environmental impact assessment issued by the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the first-class qualification certificate of equipment supervision approved by the National Development and Reform Commission and the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, and the accreditation certificate of special equipment inspection and testing institutions of power stations issued by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine. It has the Suzhou Nuclear Safety Center of the National Nuclear Safety Administration, the boiler and pressure vessel inspection center of the electric power industry, the quality supervision, inspection and testing center of electric power safety tools in the electric power industry, and the training center of China Electric Power Enterprise Federation. Suzhou Institute is currently affiliated to the Nuclear Power Standardization Technical Committee of the electric power industry, the Nuclear Power Generation Branch of China Electrical Engineering Society, the steel and welding technical cooperation network for supercritical boilers, and the secretariat of CFB fire-resistant and wear-resistant expert committee of the electric power industry. Suzhou Institute has made great progress in the construction of scientific research platform in recent years. Following the construction of "Experimental Center for Life Assessment of Metal Materials in Power Station" in 2009, the construction scale of hardware facilities such as environmental radiation laboratory, electrical equipment aging laboratory, equipment diagnosis and performance testing laboratory has been continuously expanded. At the same time, it has successively approved the establishment of Jiangsu "Nuclear Power Plant Equipment Safety and Reliability Engineering Technology Research Center", Jiangsu Enterprise Academician Workstation and other technology research and development platforms and post-doctoral research center talent training platforms. 20 10 July, the National Energy Administration approved the construction of "National R&D Center for Life Assessment and Management of Nuclear Power Plants" in Suzhou Institute, and Suzhou Institute began to lead the research and development of life assessment and management technology of nuclear power plants at the national level. Due to the continuous improvement of scientific research strength, Suzhou Institute began to enter the national nuclear power science and technology innovation system, and was responsible for and participated in important national nuclear power research projects, including: leading the national major project of large-scale advanced pressurized water reactor nuclear power "Research on life management technology of nuclear power plants"; Responsible for the development of zirconium alloy for high performance fuel assemblies (National 863 Project); Responsible for the basic research of key scientific problems of supercritical water reactor (National 973 Project) (microstructure and mechanical properties of materials under irradiation, material corrosion). In addition, Suzhou Institute has also participated in eight important research projects in recent years, such as the National Eleventh Five-Year Science and Technology Support Project, the National Natural Science Foundation Project, the Emergency Project of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, and the Special Project of the Energy Bureau. In order to accelerate the independent development of national nuclear power, Suzhou Institute, as a subsidiary of the Nuclear Power Standardization Committee of the electric power industry, actively participated in the construction of nuclear power standards, undertaking 69 projects in total and participating in the formulation and revision of 27 national or industrial standards. These include the national nuclear safety regulations and national standards revised by Suzhou entrusted by the National Nuclear Safety Administration. Up to now, the 15 nuclear power standard formulated by Suzhou Institute has been promulgated and implemented. The draft has been submitted 12, and 69 standards are being formulated and revised. In order to promote technical exchanges with advanced nuclear power countries, Suzhou Institute is organizing the compilation and publication of French RCC series standards for nuclear power. At present, the RCC-M part has been compiled, and the remaining RCC standard series volumes will be published in 20 1 1 one after another. With the deepening of scientific research and development in Suzhou Institute, a number of scientific research achievements and patented technologies have emerged. In the past three years, a total of 19 scientific research achievements of Suzhou Institute have won scientific and technological awards at or above the provincial and ministerial levels. As of June 20 10, 10, * * * applied for 37 patents (including invention patents 13), and was granted11; Obtained 9 software copyright certificates. Suzhou Institute will adhere to the business philosophy of "taking nuclear power as the center, integrating nuclear power with conventional power", take it as its own responsibility to solve the technical problems in the construction, production and operation of nuclear power projects in China, take technical capacity building as the foundation, aim at promoting independent innovation of nuclear power technology, aim at improving the safety, reliability and economy of nuclear power units, adhere to the market-oriented discipline construction road, and strive to build Suzhou Institute into a first-class research institute with professional characteristics in the domestic nuclear power field. Welcome outstanding talents from all walks of life to join the team of nuclear power construction. Suzhou Thermal Engineering Research Institute looks forward to creating a better future with you!
