There are currently two types in industry
(1) Low-temperature air separation for oxygen production: It is characterized by high oxygen purity and can produce nitrogen, argon and other gases and liquids at the same time. It consumes a lot of energy and is expensive. ?
(2) Pressure swing adsorption oxygen production: It is characterized by low purity (purity greater than 92%), but low price.
(1) Low-temperature air separation and oxygen production:
According to the principle of thermodynamics, rapid expansion of compressed air can reduce the air temperature by dozens of degrees. Repeat this process until the temperature drops to the point where the air Liquefaction, since the boiling point of nitrogen is lower than that of oxygen, the nitrogen is vaporized and separated by controlling the temperature to rise to the boiling point of nitrogen, and the remainder is mainly liquid oxygen.
(2) Pressure swing adsorption oxygen production
Machine oxygen production, the coal chemical industry uses a large amount of oxygen, and the amount of oxygen produced by pressure swing adsorption oxygen production is relatively small, and The varieties are relatively single and cannot meet the oxygen flow requirements and nitrogen demand of the coal chemical industry. The cryogenic air separation oxygen production technology is mature, and the purity and supply capacity can be guaranteed. There are many successes in air separation oxygen concentrators with oxygen production capacity of 60,000Nm3/h and even 100,000Nm3/h.
