The valve on the heating pipe is used to adjust the heating switch. For many people, the adjustment of the radiator valve is not very clear. Let's learn about the adjustment method of the radiator valve. Bar.
The role of the radiator valve
The radiator valve plays a big role in the radiator. The water inlet and outlet valve can adjust the quantity and speed of the water flow in the radiator. If you want to lower the temperature, close the water inlet valve a little. If there is less hot water entering per unit time, the heat will naturally decrease, and the temperature will be low. At the same time, the radiator must be filled with water during the heating season. Open the water inlet valve and close the valve in time to fill the radiator with water, which can extend the service life.
In addition, the installation of the radiator is also inseparable from the radiator valve. If the air and cold water in the radiator cannot be drained out, the heat dissipation effect of the new radiator will be greatly reduced. If you install the radiator after heating starts, you can follow the following steps: first close the radiator outlet valve, the second step open the water inlet valve (touch the pipe valve with temperature by hand), and the third step open the radiator drain valve. Deflate the air valve and release water. After deflating, when hot water comes out, then close the air release valve. The fourth step is to open the radiator water outlet valve. Pay attention to check whether the air release valve is closed after use to prevent water leakage and water leakage.
Heating valve switching direction
Heating temperature regulating valves are generally ball valves. The valves are usually adjusted before leaving the factory. There should be only two directions. When moving the handle along the pipe, Open, rotate 90 degrees to close. If some radiators are not hot, most of the problem is that there is air damping in the heating cavity, which prevents the flow of water. It is recommended to open the heating exhaust valve to discharge the gas. Wait for the hot water to be discharged from the exhaust port for a period of time. , just close the exhaust valve.
To use the heating valve, twist it to the left to half-close it, and twist it to the right to open the valve. Generally, there is a sign on the valve with an arrow pointing to it. You can open it in the direction of the arrow to improve the heating quality. The key is installation.
Heating has a relatively high technical content, a long use time, and problems can easily cause collateral losses. Therefore, installation quality and after-sales service are very important. When installing the heating system, please note that when testing the water, leave someone at home and open the water inlet and return valves. The vent should be turned off. Do not shake the heater, and do not bear any weight on the heating pipes. Non-professionals should not dismantle or modify the heater.
Note that the valve should not be opened and closed frequently during the heating season. The valve can only be in a fully open or fully closed state. When water leakage occurs, immediately close the water inlet and return valves.
Common radiator valves
1. Safety valve is mainly used to relieve pressure when the medium is overpressured to protect equipment and systems. In some cases, micro-opening water pressure safety valves can be modified to serve as system constant pressure valves. There are many structural forms of safety valves, which are represented by "Y" in the valve model.
2. Common radiator valves: Check valve is also called check valve or one-way valve. It allows the medium to flow in one direction. If the pressure behind the valve is higher than the pressure in front of the valve, the check valve will Automatically shuts down. There are many types of check valves, mainly including: lift type, swing type, etc. The lift-type valve body looks like a stop valve and has a large pressure loss, so it is rarely used in new heat exchange station systems. It is represented by "H" in the valve model number.
3. Common radiator valves: The stop valve is used to cut off the flow of media. It has certain regulating performance and large pressure loss. It is often used to cut off the flow of steam in heating systems. It is used in valve models. "J" means shut-off valve.
4. Common radiator valves: gate valves are used to cut off the flow of media. When the valve is fully open, the media can pass through it like a normal pipe without changing the flow direction, so the pressure loss is small. The regulating performance of the gate valve is very poor, and "Z" is used in the valve model to indicate the gate valve.
5. Common radiator valves: butterfly valves adjust and switch by changing the angle of the valve disc. Since the valve disc is always in the middle of the flowing medium, the resistance formed is relatively large, so it is rarely used. It is represented by "D" in the valve model number.
Precautions for heating valves
It should be noted that the valves on the heating pipes cannot be opened and closed at will.
If you are running the heating system for the first time, debugging is generally required. Specifically, adjust the valve of each standpipe to the appropriate position, open the manual air release valve of each radiator to discharge the air accumulated in the radiator, or open the exhaust valve of the gas collecting tank installed at the top of the system to exhaust the air. , until each radiator heats up, the debugging is completed. Once the debugging is completed, the valve should be fixed and cannot be opened and closed at will.
When opening the valve, turn the handwheel clockwise, when closing the valve, turn the handwheel counterclockwise, and rotate it in place according to the opening and closing indication marks. The position of the radiator cannot be changed at will, nor can water be discharged from the system at will. Without the hot water, the water temperature in the pipe network will drop rapidly, causing the indoor temperature to drop.
