2) Schindler Schindler, Schindler is the largest escalator supplier in the world, and its patented technology mainly focuses on the escalator product line. Schindler's performance in the straight ladder market in China has been poor, which has a lot to do with Schindler's product technology. Schindler's China product line is updated too quickly, and new products are often rushed out without detailed experimental demonstration. After listing for one or two years, stop immediately, and then launch an immature new product, and so on. For example, Schindler launched hummingbird in 2003, stopped hummingbird in 2004, launched 300pr in 2004 and stopped 300pr in 2005. Schindler's current profit sources mainly come from the high-speed elevator market and escalator market. In the high-speed elevator market, Schindler's performance is very strong, because its sales team is very strong (known as the top range center in China). Of course, it also has a lot to do with top range center not reporting directly to Schindler's headquarters in China. Schindler will make a mess whenever it launches any products related to its headquarters in China. At present, Schindler's main residential elevator model in China and Southeast Asia is 3300ap. The main feature of this product is that it is driven by steel belt, just like gen2 of Otis. However, unlike Otis, the main engine is not a permanent magnet gearless engine, but an asynchronous gearless engine. The main engine is mixed, because it has just been launched, there is no market response. In addition, Schindler's miconnic 10 control system was patented by Schindler. This control system is mainly implemented on high-speed elevators, which is different from other mainstream elevator group control systems. Its principle is destination floor selection control. The system has no operation panel in the car, and the floor selection system is in the elevator hall. After selecting a floor outside the elevator, the system will actively inform you to wait for the elevator at that elevator. This system is indeed a very good elevator control system, but now other elevator manufacturers have also introduced their own destination floor selection control, and its principle is the same as Schindler. Schindler's model projects in Beijing include International Trade Phase III, Zhuangsheng Plaza, Ocean Building, PetroChina and CNOOC.
3) KONE KONE, also an elevator company founded nearly 100 years ago, ranked only 6-7 in the world before 1996. However, in 1996, KONE first introduced the permanent magnet gearless elevator and the machine room-less elevator (other elevator companies including Otis did not introduce the permanent magnet gearless elevator until after 2000-2004), and applied for a patent for its permanent magnet gearless disc motor. At this point, Kone jumped to the top. The typical technology of KONE is permanent magnet gearless disk motor. The technical advantages of this kind of traction machine are low speed, large torque and low energy consumption, which can be said to be the typical traction machine with the lowest energy consumption at present. At the same time, like Schindler, KONE also has its own destination layer selection control system. Kone's representative projects in Beijing are mainly Olympic projects, such as Olympic Village, Bird's Nest, National Grand Theatre, T3 Terminal of Capital Airport, etc., because they are relatively green and in line with the theme of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. The representative project of high-rise building is IFC International Financial Center in Shanghai.
4) ThyssenKrupp ThyssenKrupp Krupp
Thyssen used to be the largest steel group in the world, and the elevator business only accounted for 5% of its total business. But this 5% makes Thyssen one of the largest elevator companies in the world, never falling out of the top four, and has been the top three elevator companies in the world until 1996. Thyssen's popularity in China has not been very high, on the one hand, because it entered the domestic market late, on the other hand, because the price has been relatively high before 2006, and its awareness of the domestic market is relatively poor. However, in 2006, Thyssen established a second factory in China-the Shanghai factory, which mainly produced low-end elevators for the China market and took a low-cost route. By this year, Thyssen's business volume in China has greatly expanded, although it is not as good as Mitsubishi, Xizi, Guang Ri and KONE, but its domestic sales volume is also firmly ranked in the top 8. Thyssen's advantage is that its parent company is Thyssen Steel, so the steel it uses is provided by Thyssen's parent company. Thyssen's representative project in China is Shanghai International Financial Center (Saber Building). Otis claims that saber building is made by Otis, but in fact, the high-rise part is Thyssen's product.
5) Mitsubishi Mitsubishi
Established in 1987, Shanghai Mitsubishi is an elevator enterprise jointly funded by Shanghai Elevator Factory, Mitsubishi of Japan and Lingdian of Hong Kong. It has occupied the first market share of single factory in China for many years. Mitsubishi elevator is not well-known in the world, and basically can't enter the European and American markets. However, due to Mitsubishi's first introduction of the VVVF elevator in China in the late 1980s, and the well-known advertising slogan-up and down enjoyment, people in China always talk about Mitsubishi when it comes to elevators. Of course, Mitsubishi's products are really good, especially before 2003, the technology used by Mitsubishi was indeed Japanese technology and Japanese product line, such as Mitsubishi's classic product gps-3. However, with the popularization of permanent magnet gearless elevators, Mitsubishi has fallen behind European and American manufacturers. In addition, from 2004, Mitsubishi began to split China and China. China was afraid that there would be no products to sell after Japanese divestment, so China hastily launched hope and hope2 driven by China's independent intellectual property rights. However, due to the immaturity of the control system and the popularity of permanent magnet gearless elevators, I hope the series will be eliminated by the market soon. So in 2006, China continued to introduce permanent magnet gearless products lehy Lingyun and LEHY Lingyun 2 with independent intellectual property rights, and launched legy Lingjie in 2008. These products are all low-cost elevators launched by Mitsubishi in order to seize the China market, and they are all independent intellectual property rights of China. At this point, Mitsubishi should be regarded as a national enterprise in China. The representative project of Mitsubishi in China is Jinmao Tower.
6) FUJITEC
Fujita should be said to be the only elevator brand among Japanese elevator manufacturers that is competitive in the European and American markets. Compared with Mitsubishi, Hitachi and Toshiba, Fujita is the only elevator manufacturer specializing in elevator production in Japan. Fujita established Huasheng Fujita Elevator Co., Ltd. with China Textile in the mid-1990s, and the factory is located in Langfang. Fujita is not well-known in China, and some people even compare it with Fuji (domestic Fuji elevators are ultra-low-end products of fake joint ventures). But Fujita is one of the eight largest elevator companies in the world. On the one hand, the price is the main reason for the poor performance in China market, and on the other hand, it has a great relationship with the business strategy of Fujitsu's Japanese headquarters. Fujita's headquarters in Japan is relatively stable, the speed of launching new products is too slow, and the market response is very untimely, so we sit back and watch the great mountains and rivers being taken away by various elevator companies. Of course, there are also reasons for its stable business strategy. During the Great Hanshin Earthquake in the 1970s, Fujita suffered huge losses because of his radical marketing strategy, so after the Great Hanshin Earthquake, Fujita turned to seek stability. Fujita's products have no function, but they are stable. However, due to its few branches in China, it can't be maintained, and the market is average. Fujita's main achievements in China include Beijing's International Trade Phase I and Phase II, Shanghai's No.1 Yaohan and so on.
The above six companies should be considered as very good elevator companies in China, and Hitachi and Toshiba are among them, but these two companies have nothing to say. The similarity of products is very serious, there is basically no feature, and there is nothing to boast about in quality.
