Zhao Wenzhong, a member of the Communist Party of China, graduated from Shaanxi Normal University in 1978 and is currently the leader of the biology teaching and research group of Tongchuan No. 1 Middle School and a special teacher. Since he started teaching, he has been diligent and dedicated in his work. He has been teaching biology to the graduating class and has achieved excellent results. He has guided students in their spare time to carry out scientific and technological innovation activities and won more than 300 provincial awards, 65 national awards and 11 national invention patents. In 1986, he was named a “National Education System Model Worker” by the Ministry of Education and the All-China Education Federation; in 1998, he was awarded the “National Outstanding Science and Technology Counselor” by the National Youth Science and Technology Activities Leading Group; in 2001, he was recommended as one of the Sixth National Educational Worker of the China Association for Science and Technology Representative of the National Congress; in December 2001, he was awarded "Experts with Outstanding Contributions in Shaanxi Province" by the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government; in September 2002, he was named "The Fifth National Top Ten Teachers"; in January 2003, he was elected as the "Expert with Outstanding Contributions of Shaanxi Province" Representative of the 10th National People's Congress; in 2007, he was named a top talent with outstanding contributions in Tongchuan City and a leader in educational systems biology in Tongchuan City. From 2002 to 2007, only part-time tutoring students participating in the "Tomorrow's Little Scientists" comprehensive evaluation competition organized by the Ministry of Education and the China Association for Science and Technology generated a bonus of 140,000 yuan for the school; 7 students were exempted from the college entrance examination and recommended to universities. The senior high school students and cram schools he taught had excellent biology scores and exceeded the college entrance examination targets year after year. Many of the papers he wrote and the biological photography he took won national awards and were published in national publications such as "Journal of Biology" and "Biology Teaching".
