Most people know that intellectual property includes copyright, patent, industrial design and trademark. But many people still regard these as commercial or legal concepts and think that they have nothing to do with daily life.

In order to narrow this gap in understanding, in June 5438+ 10, 2000, the 35th General Assembly of the World Intellectual Property Organization adopted a proposal on the establishment of World Intellectual Property Day jointly put forward by China and Algeria, and decided to designate April 26th every year as World Intellectual Property Day from May 5438+0, 2006, in order to raise people's awareness of intellectual property rights in their daily lives.
