1. Promoting Roots In summer, due to high temperature, abundant rainfall and high soil water content, it is very unfavorable for the growth of rhizomes, and often there are phenomena such as underdeveloped rhizomes, root spitting, rotten roots, aging, etc., from some branches above ground to yellow leaves, rolled leaves and fallen leaves to withering and dying. Therefore, in the summer rainy season, the key is to raise and promote roots and keep the roots strong, so as to maintain the normal growth of branches above the ground, prevent branches from drying up and fertilizing, and enhance the resistance of branches.
If drainage can be used to promote roots, but in summer when there is more precipitation, drainage cannot be maintained, so we must rely on multifunctional long-root fertilizers, such as carbohydrates, alginic acid, sodium alginate, humic acid and so on. To promote the growth and development of rhizomes and keep them in a rich state in harsh environment.
Especially tomatoes, peppers, beans, eggplant and other vegetables, it is very important to apply long-root chemical fertilizer. Methods such as ditching and topdressing, precipitation irrigation and foliar spraying can be used to promote the good growth of root system and prevent the root system from being underdeveloped due to continuous rainfall.
Second, prevent various diseases. High temperature and high humidity is the time that causes the highest incidence of diseases, which can be divided into physiological diseases, fungal diseases and bacterial infectious diseases. This disease often leads to crop withering, yellow leaves, leaf curling, wrinkling, root rot and death. At this time, it is necessary to take preventive measures in advance, and we must not wait until the disease occurs to think about prevention, but it is usually too late, and all drugs will not work at this time. Therefore, no matter what disease, we must prevent it before it happens.
The common method to prevent diseases is to irrigate roots and spray drugs. Common drugs are: propamocarb+Procymidone+Amino Oligosaccharide, Propafenone+Cruelty Toxin, Bimould Copper Acetate+Jamesonide, Bacillus subtilis+Trichoderma harzianum, but I usually use my home-grown Bacillus subtilis+Trichoderma harzianum to irrigate roots and spray leaves, and sometimes I also use chloropicrin+garlic essential oil to spray leaves and roots.
Third, do a good job in blade protection. In summer, leaves often turn yellow, roll and fall off for various reasons, sometimes it may be caused by pests and diseases, but sometimes it is not necessarily pests and diseases, but there are also many reasons, such as unreasonable fertilization, excessive watering, poor sunshine and ventilation, and nutrient loss. And even poor growth. Therefore, often supplementing nutrients to leaves can reduce the pressure on roots.
When foliar spraying, you can choose carbohydrate foliar fertilizer and green foliar fertilizer, or you can make your own foliar fertilizer. Here, you can enjoy two secret recipes: 1, 4g of sodium nitrophenolate containing1.8%+15g of calcium, magnesium and boron, and 30kg of water. 2. 10g brassin +30g potassium dihydrogen phosphate+15g calcium, magnesium and boron, and 30kg water is enough for spraying. Spraying once every 7 days, except for pests and diseases, leaves sometimes curl, mainly due to the lack of trace elements, which can be effectively solved with calcium, magnesium and boron.
But when spraying foliar fertilizer, don't forget to spray the protective agent introduced above, which can be used alternately with foliar fertilizer to reduce the occurrence of diseases. The above is just a little experience. It can be used as a reference when planting, and the management mode can be decided according to your actual situation.
