Organization of the Patent Reexamination Board
The Patent Reexamination Board has 13 offices, namely: office, personnel and education department, filing and process management department, first complaint office (mechanical), second complaint office (electrical), third complaint office (communication), fourth complaint office (medical and biological), fifth complaint office (chemical), sixth complaint office (photoelectric) and seventh complaint office. Mainly responsible for the reexamination and invalidation of design patents, responding to patent administrative litigation filed by the parties who refuse to accept the reexamination and invalidation decisions made by our bureau, and being responsible for the design review, research, training and guidance of the Patent Reexamination Board.
