Of all the subjects, the most boring knowledge is probably numbers. It is difficult for a girl to spoil her grown-up baby every day, and she always has to make efforts for them. To tell the truth, it's hard for them. So how can math teachers make their teaching "interesting" and stimulate children's brain desires? Generally introduce students' favorite mathematical entertainment activities. Such as: songs, stories, games, playing math and other activities, let me talk about my approach:
1, "Mathematics Entertainment" enters the classroom.
First, adapt it into songs according to knowledge. For example, when learning the course "Orientation and Graphics", the textbook is very simple, just a theme map and two questions. In fact, for children in many cities, they really can't tell the difference between east, west, north and south, or even the sun rises and sets there. To put it bluntly, I'm afraid it's just a passing sight for some students, and it's hard to leave an impression. So, combined with the first picture of the theme map, I made up a song and used it in class. Push open the doors and windows to see the sun, children should not sleep late, oh oh! Hurry up and study and exercise. The children's enthusiasm suddenly rose. At the same time, in order to deepen my impression of the sunset, I introduced the theme song of Weishan Lake. Please see: the sun is about to set, and the students in our class are about to leave school. Take that bag and go home. You can't run around on the road. Another example is the study of "abdication subtraction within 100", which happens to be March 5. As soon as the class begins, I will let my children listen to this song: learn from Lei Feng's good example, create a green life together, and never forget the roots. We are all young people in the new era. Hey, we are all young people in the new era!
Second, set up math computer games. Why are so many children obsessed with computer games? Mainly because the game is very exciting, you can get inner satisfaction by breaking through the level, so you set up a math game on the computer.
2. Introduce "playing math".
Children's nature is to play. If mathematics knowledge is packaged in "play", it will definitely make students more interested, so make a fuss about the word "play".
First, play cards. 100, no matter how clear the mathematical theory is, it is really applied to practical calculation. The existence of children's error rate and the slow speed of doing problems are facts, so we adopt the training of "indefinite questions at regular intervals" or "indefinite questions in each class", introduce playing cards to strengthen oral calculation, and students practice while talking, with good results.
Second, spell graphics. On the day before learning the lesson of plane graphics, we asked our children to make the following preparations: (1) Prepare a cuboid box, a cube box and a cylinder box, and stick each side of the box with cardboard. (2) Stick one side at a time, not too tightly, but easy to peel off. In class, I gave some feedback to let the three groups cooperate to take off the surface of the object they brought and think about the following two questions (1): What is the figure of the uncovered surface? (2) What are the characteristics of these figures? Finally, I asked the team members to work together to make a beautiful picture. When the group is good at spelling, the teacher takes pictures of their works. The children contended for me to take pictures. In this way, it not only successfully completed the learning task, but also mobilized the children's desire to think.
Third, shopping. After studying the understanding of RMB, we designed such a shopping problem (question 5 on page 39). First, provide each group with a fake money according to the number of RMB sheets in the question, and then cooperate in shopping according to the following three requirements. (1) Each group can only choose to buy one thing. (2) Take out the money you need. (3) Explain clearly the number of coins needed. After learning the calculation of RMB, we designed such a shopping problem. Children not only had fun, but also learned knowledge and became more and more interested in thinking.
Fourth, use graphics to express arithmetic. After learning the carry addition of two digits and one digit, in order to consolidate arithmetic and improve children's interest. We let the children use figures to express arithmetic. This method plays a multiplier role in children's understanding of difficult carry and abdication arithmetic, and the effect is very good.
3. Let mathematics come into life.
In order to increase our interest in mathematics, we often extend our mathematics activities to extracurricular activities:
First, link up with formal education. After school, students can easily walk together in the safe passage. Because there are always a few restless elements joking and playing together outside the teacher's sight, after learning the direction and position, let the children walk in the team and say nursery rhymes. For example, when the North Road team left school, they walked and said: When coming home from school, they face north, the front is north, the back is south, the left is west, and the right is east. West Road Team said: Go home from school facing west, with west in front, east behind, south on the left and north on the right. Of course, East Road Team and South Road Team also have corresponding nursery rhymes. Children's hands, feet and mouths are occupied, so they don't have time to care about them, and they also exercise their sense of orientation.
Second, write a "math composition". Composition is not a patent of China people, and mathematics can also be used to write compositions. However, all the math compositions we require to write are students' descriptions of life practice. Students are not only not annoying, but also interested. For example, after learning the knowledge of adding and subtracting double digits and knowing RMB, I assigned a practical assignment: I went shopping with my parents, asked myself to check out and wrote down my shopping feelings.
This method makes children enjoy it, and some students play with it. The following is a nursery rhyme compiled by Zhang after shopping:
Cherish RMB
Rmb, RMB,
120 yuan 50 points,
Everyone must cherish it.
No writing, no painting, no folding,
Rmb, RMB,
The country can't live without you!
The introduction of mathematical entertainment activities has really enhanced children's interest in learning and their desire to think with their brains, just like a famous saying of Harvard University: I heard it, but I forgot it. I've seen it. I know. I did it. I see. Only by truly letting children "do" mathematics will mathematics be deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.
