Compared with Dongfanghong 5 shunting locomotive and Dongfanghong 2 shunting locomotive, the main improvements are as follows:
1. The curb weight is increased from 60 tons to 86 tons to improve the starting traction and braking force of the locomotive.
1. The locomotive body adopts all-steel welded structure, which is divided into five parts from front to back: brake room, transmission cooling room, power room, driver's cab and rear engine room. The cab is arranged in the middle and rear position. The main frame consists of left and right longitudinal center beams, front and rear traction beams and middle cross beams. In order to increase the weight of the locomotive, counterweight iron is installed on one side of the central plate beam and on both sides of the upper part of the traction beam (according to the user's requirements, the weight of the locomotive is 72t.
2, locomotive power plant
Dongfanghong 5 locomotive is equipped with 12V 180ZJ diesel engine.
3. Hydraulic transmission of locomotive
There are two types of hydraulic transmission boxes produced by Ziyang Factory: ZJ20 1 1 and ZJ20 12. ZJ is the first letter of Ji Zi Hanyu Pinyin, which means the locomotive made by Ziyang Factory. The first number 2 indicates that there are two torque converters in the gearbox, and the second number 0 indicates that there is no coupling in the gearbox. The third and fourth digits 1 1 and 12 indicate that the power absorbed by the transmission box is 810kw (1100hp) and 880kW( 1200 HP) respectively. These two gearboxes are installed on Dongfanghong 5 locomotive, Dongfanghong 5B locomotive and Dongfanghong 5C locomotive respectively (Dongfanghong 5 locomotive is equipped with ZJ20 12 gearbox from 00065438 to 0094).
The transmission box is matched with a 12V 180Z diesel engine with rated speed of 1500r/min, and its function is to transform the external characteristics of the diesel engine into the ideal traction characteristics of the locomotive. Its input flange is connected with the elastic coupling of diesel engine through the 10 cardan shaft, and when facing the input flange of transmission box, its rotation direction is clockwise. A reversing gear is installed in the transmission box to change the direction of the output shaft of the transmission box, and then the output torque of the transmission box is converted into forward or backward wheel traction through the universal shaft, the intermediate gear box and the axle gear box, thus realizing the forward or backward running of the locomotive.
A fan coupling is installed at the top of the transmission box. Its output flange is connected with the driving flange of the cooling fan through a universal shaft to drive the cooling fan. Seen from the top to the bottom, the output flange rotates clockwise. The oil filling and discharging of the coupling is automatically controlled by the water temperature of the high-temperature outlet pipe of the diesel engine. When the water temperature reaches about 78 degrees, the temperature relay fills the coupler with oil through the electro-pneumatic valve; When the water temperature drops to about 73 degrees, the coupling discharges oil and stops working. If the automatic control function fails, the driver can control the coupler to work through the button on the console.
4. Locomotive Operation Department
The running gear consists of two all-steel welded double-axle bogies. Each beam of the bogie frame is a box structure welded with steel plates. Element guide frame for positioning rubber joint tie rod, independent suspension device for rolling bearing axle box, spiral spring and oil shock absorber. Each bogie is equipped with two oil bath sliding friction side bearings, and the friction pairs are manganese steel and phenolic laminated plastics. The traction of the locomotive is transmitted by the elastic Shen Xin pin sleeve and the center pin with wear-resistant nylon cylinder. Each wheel is equipped with an independent brake cylinder and a double-sided cast iron brake shoe tread brake device with a brake lever system. The four corners of the bogie are equipped with grinding devices.
Second, the working condition gearbox is added, which can realize shunting and small running by shifting gears, thus expanding the application scope of locomotives.
Since 1976 was put into production, the following improvements have been made:
(1) Starting from 0095 locomotive, the load power of diesel engine decreased from 920kW to 790kW, and the starting traction and continuous traction of locomotive also changed.
(2) Starting from No.0095 locomotive, the model of hydraulic transmission box was changed from ZJ20 12 to ZJ20 1 1, the absorbed power of hydraulic torque converter impeller was changed from 795kW to 700kW, and the maximum speed of hydraulic torque converter impeller was changed from 3750r/min to 3593r/min.
(3) In order to solve the fracture problem of the spiral bevel gear of the axle gearbox, the modulus of the spiral bevel gear is increased from 12 to 14.5, the pressure angle is changed from 16 degrees to 20 degrees, and the gear transmission ratio is changed from 18/48 to 6544.
(4) In order to further improve the strength of spiral bevel gear and the safety and reliability of axle gearbox, a new axle gearbox is redesigned.
(5) In order to avoid the gear of the intermediate gearbox from being broken due to the disengagement of the tooth clutch in operation, the spiral angle of the gear was changed from 15 degrees to 10 degrees from the 0 182 locomotive, and the number of teeth of the gear changed accordingly under shunting and small running conditions.
Third, heightening and widening the cab and arranging it in the middle of the locomotive to improve the working conditions of flight attendants and shunting personnel.
In addition, the volume of the oil tank is increased, the cooling capacity is improved, and the cold and sound insulation measures are improved.
Four. Dongfanghong 5 locomotives are constantly innovating, and Dongfanghong 5B and Dongfanghong 5C locomotives are produced one after another.
1985, under the principle of keeping the overall layout of dongfanghong 5 locomotive basically unchanged and the main parts interchangeable, the design was improved, and dongfanghong 5B locomotive and dongfanghong 5C locomotive were produced. Dongfanghong 5C locomotive is specially designed for metallurgical enterprises.
Compared with Dongfanghong 5 locomotive, Dongfanghong 5B locomotive and Dongfanghong 5C locomotive have the following main improvements:
(1) The locomotive power is increased from 790kW( 1075 HP) to 920kW( 1250 HP).
(2) The locomotive kerb quality is increased from 86t to 92t.
(3) The traction performance of the locomotive is improved and the economy of the locomotive is improved by adopting a new type of starting torque converter with high efficiency and good performance and running torque converter.
(4) The locomotive steering mechanism is added in the hydraulic transmission box, which improves the reliability of locomotive reversing.
(5) The new axle gearbox is adopted, which increases the strength of the gear and the rigidity of the box, and improves the reliability.
(6) In order to adapt to the increase of axle load and the installation requirements of new axle gearbox, the bogie is improved, and the reliability of running parts is improved.
(7) The intake air of diesel engine is filtered by two stages of air, which improves the quality of mixed gas.
(8) A muffler can be installed at the exhaust port of diesel engine. The interior wall of the driver's room adopts new heat and sound insulation materials to reduce the noise in the driver's room and improve the working conditions of the driver.
(9) Adopt large-capacity ZQF-3 1 starter generator to meet the increasing demand for locomotive auxiliary power.
In order to meet the requirements of users and expand the scope of locomotive use, Dongfanghong and series locomotives can be equipped with double-machine reconnection devices.
According to the situation in the use area, Dongfanghong and series locomotives can also be equipped with special cold protection devices to make the locomotives work normally at the external temperature of -40 degrees.
