The gun combines It uses a Stoner rotary bolt and a compact buttless design, and the magazine is installed behind the trigger mechanism to shorten the overall length of the gun.
Nearly the entire weapon is wrapped in smooth, high-strength plastic. The basic model uses an M16-style 30-round magazine, and the aiming device includes a fixed 1.5x optical sight. In addition, there is a red dot laser sighting device in the front guard. The P-Rail type has a Picatinny rail on the top of the receiver, which can be used to install various sights.
There is also a SharpShooter model and a SAR21 light machine gun. The former is equipped with a 3x optical sight, while the latter is equipped with a weighted barrel and a light bipod.
Usage
The SAR 21 can mount an M203 grenade launcher, but the bayonet is not considered, the position of the strap ring is not ideal, and the problem of gunpowder gas glare has not been solved.
It uses a patented safety device to prevent the shooter from being injured in small-probability incidents such as shell explosion or chamber explosion. The first component of the safety system is a die-forged alloy steel plate placed directly under the cheek to protect the shooter's face. The second part of the safety system is a vent hole in the collar, which directs the gunpowder gases to escape from the shooter's face in the event of a primer explosion or shell explosion. This system should be said to have basically eliminated safety hazards. Large parts of the SAR 21 can be easily disassembled without any tools. The SAR 21 is easy to aim and the gun is easy to control when firing semi-automatically or fully automatically.
