Brief Introduction to the Author of Modern Pump Theory and Design

Professor Guan, a native of Fuxin, Liaoning, is a professor of fluid machinery and engineering at Jiangsu University and a doctoral supervisor. 65438-0962 graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology, majoring in hydraulic machinery. After graduation, he stayed in school to teach, and transferred to Northeast Heavy Machinery Institute and Gansu University of Technology to teach. 65438 to 0986, transfer to Jiangsu University of Science and Technology. He used to be the director of the Institute of Fluid Machinery of Jiangsu University of Technology and the deputy director of the teaching steering committee of power machinery and engineering in national universities.

For 50 years, he has been engaged in pump teaching and experimental research in the front line. The design method of non-clogging pump and the non-clogging pump products developed by the company are widely used in China. Three-dimensional hydraulic design software of pump, technical support and selection software of pump and selection software of low-lift pump are the main pump technical software in China at present. Axial flow pump model, oblique flow pump model, tubular flow pump model and bidirectional pump model series have been used in many large-scale projects of 14 pumping station and South-to-North Water Transfer Project. The single-stage pump model, double-suction pump model, multi-stage pump model, desulfurization pump model, spiral centrifugal pump model, inducer and other models designed and studied have been adopted by more than 0/00 pump factories in China. It has successively won the second and third prizes of national scientific and technological progress, the first prize of State Education Commission, six second prizes of provincial (ministerial) scientific and technological progress, three third prizes of provincial (ministerial) scientific and technological progress 1, national key promotion project of scientific and technological achievements 1 and invention patent1.

* * * Published monograph 15, with more than 60 papers, including Theory and Design of Pumps, Technical Manual of Modern Pumps, Hydraulic Model Design Test and Engineering Application of Axial-flow Pumps and Inclined-flow Pumps, etc., which is the main scientific and technological reference book of the pump industry in China.

1989 was rated as an outstanding teacher in China, 199 1 was rated as an expert with outstanding contributions in the Ministry of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, 1992 was rated as a winner of special government allowance, and 1997 was rated as an outstanding academic leader in Jiangsu Province.

Now I am engaged in the research of pump model and related pump innovation technology.
