How to repair a single-cylinder diesel engine.

Different parts have different methods.

Techniques and methods for repairing the oil supply system of a single-cylinder diesel engine:

(1) How to determine the location of the diesel engine stalling failure. The speed of a single-cylinder diesel engine gradually decreases during operation and eventually leads to flameout. Most of the time it is caused by air entering the fuel supply system. You can open the bleed screw on the fuel injection pump or fuel filter, and use the fuel injection pump handle to continuously pump oil. If the oil flow is If the bubbles never disappear, it can generally be judged that there is air leakage in the low-pressure oil circuit. When the fuel injection pump is working, the oil pressure in the low-pressure oil circuit is lower than the atmospheric pressure, so it is common for oil supply failures caused by air intake in the low-pressure oil circuit. The solution is to find out where the low-pressure oil circuit takes in air and take sealing measures.

(2) How to ensure the installation of the fuel injection pump plunger adjusting arm. In the speed control fork, the diesel engine (such as S195) fuel injection pump assembly and speed control rod are installed on the timing gear chamber cover. When installing the fuel injection pump assembly after repair, it is difficult to accurately install the plunger adjustment arm into the notch of the speed control fork, which may easily cause the throttle to lose control and cause a "speeding" accident. Here are several simple and accurate installation methods.

① Place the throttle handle of the diesel engine at the maximum throttle position, and make the speed control fork also at the maximum oil supply position through the connecting rod. Then place the plunger adjusting arm at the maximum fuel supply position and keep it still, and then insert the fuel injection pump assembly horizontally into the fuel injection pump installation hole. The plunger adjusting arm will generally enter the speed control fork notch.

②Open the observation hole cover on the front of the timing gear chamber cover, and while shining a light source such as a flashlight into the observation hole, insert the fuel injection pump assembly until the plunger adjustment arm accurately enters the speed control fork. inside the slot.

③Use a file to file a 45° chamfer on the notch end of the speed-regulating fork, and use the guiding function of the chamfered bevel to allow the adjusting arm to accurately enter the notch of the fork. For fuel injection pumps that use a rack and ring gear method to adjust the fuel supply, you can also use the same method to file the fork on the ring gear, so that when installing the plunger, the birch on the plunger will be easier to enter. Inside the fork of the ring gear.

④ Place the diesel engine's throttle handle in the fuel supply position, tighten the speed regulator spring, and make the speed control fork notch lean toward the side of the timing gear chamber housing. Then push the fuel injection pump plunger adjustment arm to the maximum fuel supply position and also to the side of the timing gear chamber housing. Then turn the flywheel clockwise, find the compression top dead center, then turn it 180°, and finally align the fuel injection pump assembly with the mounting stud and push it inward.

The above methods can be used cross-wise to confirm each other, and they must be inspected after assembly. The method is: do not install the oil delivery valve on the fuel injection pump first. After the fuel injection pump assembly is inserted into place, move the throttle handle back and forth and observe whether the plunger can rotate synchronously from one end of the oil delivery valve. If the plunger does not rotate, it means that the plunger adjustment arm has not entered the notch of the speed control fork. The fuel injection pump assembly should be pulled out and reinstalled until the plunger adjustment arm accurately enters the notch of the speed control fork to ensure that this does not happen. "Flying car" accident.

(3) How to check the oil outlet valve. After the diesel engine stalls, remove the high-pressure oil pipe, turn the flywheel, or use the fuel injection pump handle to pump oil, and observe the oil outlet pipe interface of the fuel injection pump. If there is diesel leakage there, it means that the oil outlet valve has been worn or is not tightly sealed, and should be replaced or replaced. Inspect and repair the oil delivery valve.

(4) The diesel engine emits black smoke at high speed. A 180-type diesel engine operates normally at low speed, but black smoke is emitted when the speed is increased. Take out the oil delivery valve spring and the oil delivery valve for inspection. It is found that one side of the oil delivery valve spring has traces of friction with the wall of the tight seat hole of the oil delivery valve. Install the oil delivery valve spring back into the oil delivery valve seat hole, and then place it upside down on a flat plate. It is found that the spring is biased to one side of the hole wall, which indicates that the bottom surface of the oil delivery valve seat hole is uneven. When the diesel engine is running at low speed, although there is friction between the spring and the hole wall, due to the low working frequency of the spring and the long cycle oil supply time, the oil outlet valve can still be seated, which has little impact on the normal oil supply; when the diesel engine is running at high speed, The spring will cause the oil outlet valve to lag in seating, affecting normal oil supply. After replacing the oil outlet valve seat with a new one, the fault was eliminated.

(5) How to quickly adjust the speed governor of the 160F diesel engine. When adjusting the adjusting screw of the 160F diesel engine governor, if there is no tachometer, you can first close the flyweight of the governor, then push the speed regulating fork of the fuel injection pump to the maximum fuel supply position, and then carefully adjust the speed Adjust the adjusting screw of the regulator so that the adjusting screw is just in contact with the shaft end of the speed regulating shaft, then screw the adjusting screw 1 turn in and tighten the locking nut. The essence of this empirical method is to meet the maximum oil supply position. It is faster and more accurate than the method of testing, listening and adjusting while testing.

Notes:

Precautions for the use of single-cylinder air-cooled diesel engines. Since the cooling and lubrication methods of single-cylinder air-cooled diesel engines and water-cooled diesel engines are different, the heat dissipation, lubrication and cooling effects are poor. , the machine must be used in strict accordance with the operating procedures, and special attention should be paid to the following points:

(1) Fill the lubricating oil in strict accordance with the diesel engine operating instructions, and replace it regularly. The air-cooled diesel engine is responsible for the oil quality and labeling of the oil. , the cleanliness requirements are higher and stricter than those of water-cooled diesel engines.

(2) The body temperature of air-cooled diesel engines is higher than that of water-cooled diesel engines, and the oil consumption is greater. Check the oil level frequently. Too much oil will easily spurt out, burn easily, and even cause speeding. Too little oil will easily pull the engine. Cylinder, Lava.

(3) Remove weeds, soil, and oil on the windshield and radiator at any time to ensure sufficient air volume and good heat dissipation.

(4) After starting, you should idle at low speed for a moment, and then run at low speed after the standby temperature rises. Before turning off, you should idle at medium or low speed for a moment, and then turn off the engine after the standby temperature is appropriately lowered. It is forbidden to work under high load for a long time. .
