Since 199s, many companies in China have developed various corn harvesters with more than 6 models, and 64 related patents have been filed. From the structural form, it can be summarized as the following models: developed by Beijing Peter Yi Electromechanical Technology Application Center in 21, the patent is a three-chain ear-picking unit with new patented technology for the off-line corn harvester (patent number ZL1 2 74995.8), and the ear-picking mechanism is composed of ear-picking rollers and left and right plucking chains. An ear conveying chain, a transmission box and a rack form an independent ear picking unit. The mechanism has broken through the limitation that the traditional ear-picking roller can only form a double-row header, realized the layout of multi-row header, and met the agronomic requirements of self-clearing. The ear-picking roller type ear-picking component is especially suitable for harvesting green straw corn. It has the advantages of less ear loss, low impurity content in ear, no broken stem and high speed operation. When harvesting summer corn in the late wax ripening stage and early yellow ripening stage in North China, the ear-picking roller mechanism has better ear-picking quality than the ear-picking plate-stem-pulling roller mechanism. The two plucking chains of the three-chain ear-picking monomer are distributed in the front of the ear-picking roller in a V-shape, which can pluck the corn stalks at the front, left and right sides into the ear-picking roller, so as to achieve the goal of not being limited by the row spacing within the cutting range.
