In some applications, an improved film is used, which can be truly abrasion-resistant, wherein at least some of such films are in contact with other surfaces, so that the film is easily abraded. The film includes at least one layer of soft material selected from natural rubber, synthetic rubber, fiber reinforced rubber, plastic and their mixture, and a layer of wear-resistant polymer material with a predetermined thickness. The wear-resistant polymer material is at least partially attached to the film, and the film is in contact with another surface and worn. This type of wear usually occurs in the flange area of the film.
