Brief introduction of Xu Zhen

Xu Zhen, Associate Professor of University of Science and Technology Beijing, Dr. Tsinghua University, Assistant Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Engineering Mechanics. Main research interests: scenario simulation of urban and major engineering disasters. More than 30 papers have been published by the first author, including 6 SCI papers and 4 EI papers, including 2 papers on JCR engineering and civil engineering in Zone 2, 2 papers on Zone 3, and SCI journal papers under ASCE of American Civil Engineering Society 1 paper. Obtained 1 utility model patents and 5 software copyrights. As the second author, he published 1 Chinese monograph Computer Aided Bridge Collapse Accident Analysis, 1 textbook Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Engineering and Technology, 1 English monograph Encyclopedia of Earthquake Engineering. He presided over the National Natural Science Foundation 1 Youth Project and the National Postdoctoral Science Foundation 1 Project, and undertook two sub-projects of the National Twelfth Five-Year Plan for Science and Technology Support. As the backbone of the project, he participated in six important scientific research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation Major Research Program and the National 863 Program. He has won the first prize of Science and Technology of China Highway Society (12/ 15), the excellent thesis award awarded by china civil engineering society Computer Application Branch, the second most frequently downloaded article in the international SCI journal Adv Eng Softw, and the most frequently read article in the quarterly SCI journal affiliated to American Civil Engineering Society. At the same time, he won the title of Tsinghua University Excellent party member.
