The waterproof degree of general waterproof nylon is only 1000-2000mm (water column pressure), which can only withstand general showers; A slightly better 5000mm (water column pressure) can withstand heavy rain; The standard of American military department is only 7000mm (water column pressure), while GORE-TEX is as waterproof as 20000mm (water column pressure)!
Breathability:
The specification of air permeability is g/m/24hr (the amount of water vapor passing through per unit area in a fixed time), and the general waterproof and breathable fabric is only 2000-3000g/m/24hr, while the air permeability of GORE-TEX is as high as 8000- 10000g/m/24hr! GORE-TEX has excellent performance and is the standard equipment for most top expeditions in the world. From Everest to the North and South poles to astronauts in space, there is nothing else, because it is impossible to find better materials than GORE-TEX.
Easy to clean
Gently rub or machine wash with ordinary washing powder in warm water. A dryer and a low-temperature iron are available.
